We are seeking an ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD TECHNICIAN to work out of our
EDMONTON OFFICE. The successful candidate will receive appropriate training in all of our field procedures. An organized, hands-on person with good communication skills, problem solving capability, the ability to work independently and to multi-task would be a good fit for this type of work. A company
vehicle will be provided and a great deal of out-of-town work and travel will be required, therefore a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Reporting to various project managers, the duties for this full-time position will involve:
soil and groundwater sampling;
site investigations and remediation programs, including drilling and excavations;
equipment installation, monitoring and maintenance;
environmental monitoring of subsurface conditions;
maintenance of field documentation;
entry and routine analysis of field and laboratory data.
