O'Connor Associates is a consulting geoenvironmental engineering firm involved in the management of environmental projects. We have an opportunity in our Langley (Vancouver) office for a Professional/Technical Assistant. Consideration will be given to applicants with a degree or diploma in a related field, and skills in MS Word, Excel, and WordPerfect. Responsibilities will initially involve word processing and report formatting. Once you have mastered these tasks you will train for additional duties such as data management (assisting with preparation of spreadsheets and information summaries), Phase I Research (collecting historical information such as aerial photographs, maps, water well searches, land title searches, EUB searches), utility locates, borehole logs (an in-house program), report writing, and miscellaneous other duties.
